If you've visited the site in the last few days, you might have noticed things look a little different. We gave Reinos Add-ons a full refresh. Here's what changed.
A cleaner, lighter design
The old photo banners and colourful cards are gone. In their place: a calm, light layout with plenty of breathing room, a new typeface and one consistent blue that matches the add-on icons. Every add-on now shows its own icon, so it's easier to find what you're looking for at a glance.
On the homepage you can filter the add-ons by ExpressionEngine version, and each card shows the latest version, compatibility and price, with an Add to cart button right there.
Add-on pages that get to the point
Each add-on page now opens with a clear header: icon, short description, supported EE versions and the current release. The price, Add to cart and a link to the documentation sit in a panel next to the content, so they're always close by. Key features, screenshots and extensions follow below in a tidy layout.
A better account area
Your licenses are now easier to scan: every license shows its add-on, license key and status (active, expired or disabled), and you can download, renew or add a note in one place. Invoices got the same treatment, with a clean overview and a proper invoice page with a PDF download.
Bought an add-on through the ExpressionEngine store? Those licenses are managed on expressionengine.com, and the invoice for them lives there too. When you open one of those orders here, we'll point you to the right place.
Renewing a license here now also updates its expiration date on expressionengine.com, so both places stay in sync.
Faster pages
We cut out some slow external requests and now host the icons ourselves. Pages appear quicker, and the icons no longer pop in after the rest of the page.
Small things that make a difference
After logging in, you're taken back to the page you came from instead of always landing on your account.
If a download isn't available for some reason, you'll see a clear page with a way to contact us, instead of an error.
The blog has a new look too, as you're seeing right now.
We also did some housekeeping behind the scenes to keep the site secure and up to date.
Spotted something that doesn't look right, or have an idea to make the site better? Let us know via the support page. We'd love to hear from you.
