We’ve recently rolled out an important update for the Reinos Maps module and its related add-ons: Maps Route, Maps Locator, and Maps Fieldtype. While this release doesn’t bring major UI changes, it focuses on something just as crucial: performance.
What’s New?
The core Maps module has been significantly optimized under the hood. Expect faster load times, more efficient data handling, and an overall smoother experience both in the Control Panel and on the front-end. To take full advantage of these improvements, we’ve also updated Maps Route, Maps Locator, and Maps Fieldtype. All components of the Maps Suite are now fully in sync and benefit from the performance boost.
Small Changes, Big Impact
Besides performance enhancements, we’ve also made a few minor tweaks—things like query optimizations, better caching, and more robust error handling. These updates may not be immediately visible, but they contribute to a faster, more stable ExpressionEngine setup.
